The ranches of California's Central Coast produce superior cattle. San Luis Obispo CattleWomen support the local, state and national promotion through beef promotion and education.
The San Luis Obispo County CattleWomen (SLOCCW) are pleased to announce their annual scholarship for High School Seniors, Cuesta College, and Cal Poly State University students pursuing a degree in an agricultural related field or past SLOCCW Scholarship Award recipients continuing to pursue a degree in agriculture in Fall 2025. Our organization is committed to education and assistance to further the pursuits of students planning careers in agriculture.
Each student scholarship recipient has plans to use his or her education to help promote agriculture, in particular the cattle industry. Most student recipients are active in clubs which promote beef, as well as the agricultural industry. Recipients also demonstrate leadership skills, and volunteer in their community.
The San Luis Obispo CattleWomen are strong believers in education for today and for the future. This strong belief in the power of education is why the SLOCCW are both consistent and generous with their scholarship program. Every year the SLOCCW awards thousands of dollars in scholarship money. The members of SLOCCW work diligently throughout the year raising funds to help provide this opportunity for our local students!
